Monday to Friday 9-5 or 8-6 (No Weekends)

For this position, you must have an Active Pharmacy Technician License in the State of Florida, be Nationally Certified (PTCB), and have your sterile compounding certification.

You’ll also need previous sterile compounding experience.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare sterile compounded medications, including intravenous (IV) admixtures, in accordance with USP <797> guidelines.
  • Accurately measure and mix ingredients, following prescribed formulas and protocols.
  • Perform routine quality control checks to verify the accuracy and sterility of compounded medications.
  • Assist pharmacists with inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies.
  • Document all compounding activities and maintain precise records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Ideally, you’ll be…

  • Passionate about using aseptic techniques to prepare compounded sterile products.
  • On the ball with your ability to prepare records and monitor results for Pharmaceutical Quality assurance testing.
  • Wanting to get stuck in with the setup of the compounding room with equipment for the preparation of compounded sterile solutions.
